Getting the Center Back on Track

The Pleasant Street Neighborhood Network Center has just reopened after a two-year hiatus. Due to past funding constraints a few years ago, we were unable to continue our mission to support residents in the Pleasant Street Neighborhood. With the support of our wonderful State Representative, Mary Keefe and a lot of hard-working volunteers we were about to secure a line item in the state budget and get some funding to reopen!

The Pleasant Street Neighborhood Network Center is about bringing people together in order to surface and prioritize issues that we can collectively act on in order to make change.

Our Mission is to create a safe, attractive and livable community with people of varied means and backgrounds. This community will respect, recognize and call upon the talents of all. As neighbors, we will create this community by forging new partnerships among residents, neighborhood organizations, businesses, churches, schools, colleges, financial institutions, human service organizations, and government so that we all can share in achieving and sustaining this vision.

Although we have received funding we are still in need of some supplies and a lot more support. Below is our Wish List. Any donations you can give would be much appreciated!
